Looking to support a local cause? On March 6 from 9:00–10:30 AM, Hamilton Holmes Middle School will host a community meet-and-greet with King William County sheriff deputies and K9 Kip. Loca Bean will feature a Special K9 Kip drink with proceeds donated to the Friends of King William Animal Shelter. We’re also running the "Kip Cares Drive"—please consider donating essential supplies (blankets—non-quilted, unscented clay kitty litter, collars/leashes, plastic pet carriers, washable toys, laundry & dish detergents, dish soap, rolled paper towels, small washable rugs). ✨ Walk the Red Carpet with us! ✨ Hamilton-Holmes Middle School Junior Beta invites all HHMS students to the Winter Semiformal Dance — "Walk the Red Carpet" — on SATURDAY, March 7, 2026, from 5:00–8:00 PM. Tickets are $15 and include admission, 2 slices of pizza, a drink, and one photo.

Important dates & payment info:

Tickets on sale Feb 17 → midnight Mar 4 via MyPaymentsPlus
Cash/check only: March 2–4 during your WIN block (turn in permission slip with payment to the SRC)
Permission slips must be returned by Mar 4 — no late payments accepted (we need time to order food)
Extras:

Jr. Beta will sell extra pizza slices, snacks, candy, and sodas for $1 each (please avoid large bills)
Additional photos available for $2 each (group, pair, or individual). Photos distributed ~2 weeks after the event.
