National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) celebrates the important role a nutritious school breakfast plays in helping students start their day ready to learn, grow, and succeed. Observed each year during the first full week of March, NSBW shines a spotlight on the School Breakfast Program and the dedicated school nutrition professionals who fuel students every morning.
Come be a part of a the Lady Vikings Field Hockey intramural team! No experience necessary and we welcome all participants. Benefits include staying active, learning an exciting sport, and making new friends! Participants will take the bus to KHWS but must be picked up at 5:00pm.

Looking to support a local cause? On March 6 from 9:00–10:30 AM, Hamilton Holmes Middle School will host a community meet-and-greet with King William County sheriff deputies and K9 Kip. Loca Bean will feature a Special K9 Kip drink with proceeds donated to the Friends of King William Animal Shelter. We’re also running the "Kip Cares Drive"—please consider donating essential supplies (blankets—non-quilted, unscented clay kitty litter, collars/leashes, plastic pet carriers, washable toys, laundry & dish detergents, dish soap, rolled paper towels, small washable rugs). ✨ Walk the Red Carpet with us! ✨ Hamilton-Holmes Middle School Junior Beta invites all HHMS students to the Winter Semiformal Dance — "Walk the Red Carpet" — on SATURDAY, March 7, 2026, from 5:00–8:00 PM. Tickets are $15 and include admission, 2 slices of pizza, a drink, and one photo.

Exciting news, HHMS families! 🥍 Girls Lacrosse intramurals are coming 3/2–4/22 — a fun mix of camp-style clinics and in-team scrimmages designed to build skills, athletic conditioning, and teamwork. No experience necessary — everyone is welcome! Students can ride the bus to KWHS. Please make sure your student has a VHSL physical turned in before participating.
🎉 Big congratulations to sixth grader Madelyn Stone for breaking an eight-year PACER record! Madelyn ran an incredible 80 laps on the PACER test, showing determination, dedication, and hard work. Even more impressive—she’s already setting her sights on beating her own record before the end of the school year. Way to go, Madelyn! We can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!
