Hamilton-Holmes Middle School Renovation Project Begins

KWCPS was pleased to host several dignitaries at it's groundbreaking ceremony for the Hamilton-Holmes Middle School Renovation Project on Tuesday, December 12, 2017.  In attendance to help celebrate the start of the project were Mrs. Kathy Morrison, Mr. Steven Tupponce and Mr. Bryan Major of the KWCPS School Board, along with Mr. Travis Moskalski, Chair of the KW County Board of Supervisors.  Also in attendance were Honorable M. Keith Hodges, Delegate for the 98th District and Honorable Chris Peace, Delegate for the 97th District, both serving parts of King William County, and representatives from Ballou Justice Upton Architects and Loughridge & Company, LLC, the general contractor.  In addition, members of the HHMS student body were on hand to help celebrate the groundbreaking and Mrs.Tina Rudd, HHMS principal, selected representatives from the 6th, 7th and 8th grades to participate in the ceremonial activities.

We are pleased to begin the construction phase of the Hamilton-Holmes Renovation project and look forward to its eventual completion in the Spring of 2019.  Our hope is to provide an improved facility that will meet the ever-expanding needs of our students, staff and the community.
