KWHS Students Attend VSUP-VaSCL Student Leadership Conference

KWHS Students

Five students from King William High School participated in the VSUP-VaSCL Student Leadership Conference, held in Charlottesville on November 16, 2017.   The theme "Living Local, Going Global", focused on Global Citizens.   While continuing to explore the "Profile of a Virginia Graduate", the focus this year was narrowed to "Community Engagement and Civic Responsibility." Our KWHS student leaders had the opportunity to exchange ideas and to learn from students at other schools about programs and events working in their schools.  The focus of this conference was to help students make stronger connections and develop a greater respect for other individuals, groups, and cultures.
