Freshman Class Receives First Aid and CPR Training

First Aid

During the month of April, all ninth grade Physical Education/Health students are participating in First Aid and CPR (with AED) training taught by the King William Fire Chief, along with a team of assistants. First Aid and CPR training, including the use of AEDs is a new high school graduation requirement for all students beginning with this year’s freshman class. Not only are ninth grade students being properly trained in these lifesaving skills, but they also have the option of obtaining First Aid and CPR certification and many students are taking advantage of this opportunity.
