The King William High School Chapter of the National Honor Society sponsored the “Souper Bowl of Caring,” a canned food drive which benefitted the Cornerstone Food Bank in Aylett. It was a friendly competition among the classes with the seniors collecting the most canned food. Over 475 nonperishable items will be donated to the Cornerstone Food Bank.
Since “Souper Bowl of Caring” began, more than 20 years ago, over $90 million has been raised for local charities across the country. It has become a powerful youth led movement that is changing the time around the Super Bowl weekend into the nation’s largest celebration of giving and serving.
