Howard Hill, agriculture teacher at King William High School in King William, Virginia attended the 68th annual convention of the National Association of Agricultural Educators, November 29 – December 3 in Las Vegas.
At the NAAE Convention, Hill joined more than 700 agricultural educators in helping shape the direction of the national association for the upcoming year. Attendees participated in committees and general sessions to hear updates on the state of agricultural education and current agricultural education initiatives. Hill also participated in continuing education workshops that delivered the latest innovations in agriscience education.
The convention included award programs to recognize excellence in the agricultural education profession and time to allow attendees to network with their peers in the profession.
NAAE is the professional organization in the United States for agricultural educators. It provides its’ more than 8,000 members with professional networking and development opportunities, professional liability coverage, and extensive awards and recognition programs. The mission of NAAE is “professionals providing agricultural education for the global community through visionary leadership, advocacy and service.”
